Sept 27-30, 2008, the Stein am Rhein Symposium took place addressing the topic ‘2020 – Challenges and Choices.’ 80 leaders in business, science, politics and culture were nominated to take part. Dr. Omid Aschari was participant and panelist for the topic ‚Corporate Culture – A Driving Factor for Success’. Cutting-edge insights designed to develop personal expertise and enhance strategic decision-making skills were presented and discussed. The symposium is an initiative of Think Tank Thurgau in cooperation with the Jakob and Emma Windler Foundation and the City of Stein am Rhein, Switzerland.

Each autumn approx. 500 students from all around the world start their Master- and PhD studies at the University of St.Gallen (HSG). The traditional Master-Start-Day is the official Kick-off event, which is dedicated to a topic of eminent societal significance. Today Omid Aschari held the closing speech on the topic of ‘Intercultural Conflicts and Cooperation’.
